Some freelance work done for Safari Sun Apparel. I did the lineart of Obama and McCain, Color silhouetting and lettering added by Janet (KUBO!) Gilbert, who was kind enough to hook me up with the freelance in the first place. I added the paper texture for presentation, Texture from wojtar-stock. All things considered, I quite like how this turned out!

I do things like this when I should be working on getting my time down on the ones I do -at- work. But this feels more rewarding. And it's good to have a nice example up for people to see. -They- don't seem to mind too much that it takes me three times as long as it should to do their caricatures, -I'm- the one that goes home an hour and a half late because somebody wanted two full-body color caricatures 10 minutes before I technically get off work. 0_o For a description that actually has something to do with the image? It's effin' jack sparrow, what more do you want? XD By the way I think the hat is my favorite part.

I got a job doing caricatures at the Orlando Universal Resorts! I've spent the past week or so learning how to do them, and this is the first one I've done so far that I REALLY like. Though, it was done from home, and I spent WAY too long on it. Still practicing. XD My Boyfriend, Kahlil, who asked to be intertubing on a river. =3

Beagle being the Snake in the foreground, Phoenix being the snake in the background. Both Darwin's Carpet Pythons. They're babies right now, hope I didn't make them too big here. I love how this turned out! I did have a bit of trouble getting Phoenix's face to 'read' in the 100x100 version, but with a bit of pixel pushing, I think it works well enough, and the icon's more about the interaction between Rose and Beagle anyway. =3

Commissioned by Painted Dog for a friend of hers. I'm not totally sure I got all the details right (I know I forgot the earrings D=), but hopefully it's pretty close. Either way, I do really like how it turned out. I usually have a hard time making reds and fire-colors look decent, but this time it worked fairly well. Inked with a brushpen, and probably one of my best results with those. If anyone is interested, I did also scan the inks.
